WILLMAR -- Dean Larson, a former pitcher in amateur baseball for Norway-Lake Sunburg, continues to hit the corners just right at the KRA Speedway.
The welder from Pennock claimed his second Mod-4 feature in as many weeks, taking the checkered in front of Jesse Yarmon of Paynesville and track leader Matt Halls of Big Lake on Thursday.
Justin Bjorklund, second in the points standings, came in fourth after winning Heat 2. Larson has moved up to third in points after a slow start.
Craig Christiansen of New London has dropped back on his racing schedule this summer while building a house, but he's in the groove this month. He took the his heat and the Modified feature after a second place finish a week earlier behind points leader Jason Thoennes.
Josh Fredeen of Spicer was unbeatable in the Hobby Stock. He not only claimed the main event but also the make-up feature from Aug. 17.

Ryan Buer has an arm lock on the Street Stock feature for now. He claimed his second win in a row and fourth of the year finishing ahead of points leader Cory Rosen of Milaca.
Dave Mass of Isanti picked up his fifth Super Stock trophy here and second straight. A week ago he won the Ed Wilson Special.
Shane Sabraski of Rice out hustled Brandon Nelson of New London to the checkered in the Midwest Mod feature. His track-leading sixth feature victory, 10 if you count four wins in Modified.
