James Stone, of Spicer, takes advantage of the extended hours at the Kandiyohi County License Bureau in Willmar to purchase license tabs and a motorcycle license for his sister-in-law. Stone said the extra hours - which are 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday - meant he didn’t have to take time off from his job with DNR Fisheries. Working the “late shift” here are Carol Vlaminck, left, and Peggy Narragon. The extended times are expected to reduce lines over the lunch hour.
