Becky Smith converted many of her 10 steals into quick trips to the bucket for a game-leading 15 points to lead the Dragons to their fourth win without a loss. Outside of the lay-ups, Litchfield didn't shoot well making just 17 of 61 shots (28 percent).
Waconia and Litchfield are the pre-season favorites in the Wright County but the Wildcats, for now, are minus three starters due to injury.
Brittany Euerle added nine points while Smith, Natalie Devine and Emily Davis each had seven rebounds.
Jenny Van Kirk had 11 points and 12 rebounds for Waconia.
