Law enforcement finds over two ounces of cocaine after Willmar arrest

WILLMAR — A 37-year-old St. Paul man and a 32-year-old Lauderdale man were arrested after members of the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force witnessed them make a drug transaction around 1:33 a.m. Friday in the parking lot of a Willmar business, according to a CEE-VI Task Force news release.

According to the release, the men are facing first-degree controlled substance charges after law enforcement recovered more than two ounces of cocaine, several thousand dollars in cash, marijuana, digital scales, drug packaging material and handgun ammunition during the incident.

The men are currently being held at the Kandiyohi County jail and the case is still under investigation.

The task force was assisted by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office and the Willmar Police Department.
