Law enforcement seeks public's help in Redwood County church theft

The estimate of the stolen items plus damage at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lamberton exceeds $8,000.

LAMBERTON — Law enforcement is investigating an incident of more than $8,000 either stolen or damaged in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in the early morning hours of June 25, according to a Redwood County news release.

According to the release, someone entered the church and removed the tabernacle from the altar along with several silver and copper serving glasses.

The Lamberton Police Department is asking for the public's help in this investigation.
