MONTEVIDEO -- Lee Robert Bergo, 55, of Montevideo died Sunday at the St. Cloud Hospital.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening at Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo, with the family present from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and a prayer service at 7 p.m.
He was born Nov. 18, 1950, in Montevideo to Robert and Erna (Christenson) Bergo. He attended rural school in District 291 and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1969. He worked on road construction for Minnesota Valley for a number of years and then farmed in Rosewood Township. He worked in security and did maintenance work at McDonald's. He was also the care giver for his father for many years.

He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo and served as an usher. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited, NRA, Pheasants Forever and the NFO.
He is survived by two sisters: Jean (and Richard) Kutz of Burnsville, Linda Walstrom of St. Cloud; one niece and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
