SACRED HEART -- Tadd Tepfer of Sacred Heart threw his second no-hitter in four days, blanking Minneota 1-0 in an American Legion pitcher's duel Monday.

Tepfer, who no-hit BOLD Thursday, struck out 16 and walked three. The Sacred Heart (4-6) defense also committed two errors.

Minneota didn't get a runner past second base, but had a runner in scoring position in three separate innings.

Just like Thursday, Tepfer didn't get a lot of support from the Sacred Heart offense. Tepfer beat BOLD with two hits from the team in a 2-0 win.

Monday, Sacred Heart collected four hits and scored just one run. Brian Aeikens scored on a Mitch Schwindt fielder's choice in the second.

Minneota's Dan Hennen struck out two and walked one for the loss.
