DULUTH -- Willmar was nipped by Rosetown 2-1 in its opening pool-play game at the Duluth Invitational Friday, then came back to whip Andover 10-2.
Willmar (10-5) will take on Duluth Lakeview in the final pool game at 8:30 a.m. today.

Rosetown loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning, then plated the winning run on a throwing error.
Willmar scored its lone run in the sixth inning when Kyle Birkland singled, advanced on Josh Dahlke's grounder and scored on Tyler Horning's single.

Willmar rapped 12 hits, including three each by Kyle Townswick and Ross VanHauen.
Alex Lotthammer picked up the win in relief, entering with the bases loaded and no outs in the fifth inning and escaping unscathed with a strikeout and a lineout that was turned into a double play.

Josh Dahlke drove in two runs with run-scoring singles in the third and fifth innings.
Jason Brower pitched the first four innings for Willmar, allowing seven hits and two runs.
