GLENWOOD -- Leland Delano Danielson, 63, of Glenwood, formerly of Elbow Lake, died Tuesday at the St. Cloud Hospital.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Glenwood United Parish. Burial will be at Reno Mission Cemetery near Lowry.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hoplin Funeral Home in Glenwood and for one hour prior to the service at the church.

He was born Jan. 27, 1943, in Starbuck to Lester and Alice (Braaten) Danielson. The family moved to Granite Falls in the late 1940s. They moved to Glenwood in the early 1950s. He graduated from Glenwood High School in 1962. He served active duty in the U.S. Air Force until 1966, stationed in Amarillo, Texas, and Okinawa, Japan.

He married Rose Mrnak on Nov. 23, 1968, in rural Lowry. They lived in St. Cloud for a few years and then moved to Elbow Lake where he owned and operated Lee's TV. He sold and repaired electronic equipment. He worked for Automatic Wagering Inc. for 10 years and then retired due to health concerns.

He is survived by his children: Tracey Danielson of Fergus Falls, Brad "Eli" Danielson of Jamestown, N.D.; and his mother: Alice Hansen of Alexandria.

He was preceded in death by his father.
