PAYNESVILLE -- Lenora Haines Holper, 87, of Paynesville died Monday at Harmony House in Motley.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, with parish prayers at 6, and the Christian Mothers praying the Rosary at 7, at the Johnson Funeral Home in Paynesville. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was born April 26, 1920, in Paynesville to Frank and Margaret (Berg) Haines. She grew up in Paynesville and attended Paynesville Elementary and graduated in 1938 from Paynesville High School. She attended a vocational school where she became a licensed practical nurse.

She married Arthur Martin on April 23, 1945.
She married Mark Holper on June 19, 1950, in Paynesville. They lived in Paynesville where she worked as a nurse. In 2006, she moved to Staples.
She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville, the St. Paul Mission Group and the St. Louis Christian Mothers. She was also a member of the Paynesville Senior Citizens Group and the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she was in Bible studies.
She is survived by her children: J. P. (and Linda) Martin of Royalton, Mark (and Jackie) Holper of Hastings, Frank (and Lois) Holper of Onalaska, Wis., and Margaret (and Kevin) Grondahl of Staples; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and infant great-grandson.
