LITCHFIELD -- Christian David Lenz, 58, of Litchfield, pleaded not guilty to three counts of criminal sexual conduct at his first court appearance Monday in Meeker County District Court.

The three felony charges stem from allegations by a then 15-year-old male employee that Lenz touched his genitals on five occasions, either at the Litchfield Chamber of Commerce office or while driving in Lenz' car. At the time, Lenz was the executive director of the chamber and the teen was an employee. The teen has since quit his job at the chamber and Lenz has been released from his duties at the chamber.

According to Meeker County Attorney Stephanie Beckman, the court will schedule an evidentiary hearing. Beckman and Assistant County Attorney Deborah Simonson are prosecuting the case.
