PAYNESVILLE -- LeRoy Joseph Notch, 73, of Paynesville died Sunday at his home.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville. Entombment will be at the St. Louis Parish Mausoleum with full military honors.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville, with parish prayers at 7 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.

He was born July 5, 1933, in Melrose to Leo and Rose (Herzog) Notch. He graduated from Melrose High School in 1951. He served in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve for eight years until 1959.
He married Mary Brand on June 6, 1959, in Rosemount. He received his bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State University in 1962. He taught industrial arts in the Paynesville school district for 27 years. He retired in 1989.
He is survived by his children: David of Hastings, Paul of Seattle, Wash., Tom of Waconia, Anne of Belgrade; nine grandchildren; and one brother: Jerry of Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1990.
