OLIVIA -- Leslie J. Kroubetz, 93, of Olivia died Saturday at Golden Living Center in Olivia.

The service will be at 3 p.m. today at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Olivia.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bohemian Cemetery in Plymouth, Iowa.

He was born April 16, 1914, in Manley, Iowa, to Joseph and Stella (Stroner) Kroubetz. His family moved to Mahnomen when he was young and he attended school there. The family moved to the Olivia area in 1929, where they farmed for many years. He continued farming with his brother, Elmer, until 1972 when they retired and moved into town.

He is survived by a brother: Harold of Lake Crystal; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
