If you listen to the Republicans and the Democrats they talk about who might steal their votes.

The voters are talking about wasting a vote if they vote for the candidate they think may lose. Let me tell you the real truth here: If you vote for the lesser of two evils instead of the one you really would like to have win, you are wasting your vote and your time.

This year we will be electing the governor of our state. We have several choices. We can vote for only one. The two main choices both believe in more spending, more government control, more fees or taxes, more regulations and programs with less personal liberty.

But this year we have a new choice, Sue Jeffers. She will cut spending in 10 easy painless steps, eliminate cumbersome regulations and bureaucracy, require all groups getting public funding to hold open meetings and give public notification on how the funds are spent, protect private property rights, sign a pledge not to raise taxes or fees and keep her promise, audit all levels of government from top to bottom, introduce a taxpayer bill of rights, promote school choice, require restitution -- an essential component of sentencing -- and require longer sentences for violent criminals, and veto all Band-Aid bills that make the people feel good but do not solve anything.

If you are wondering why you have not read anything in the papers or heard about her on radio or TV, all I can say is it looks like the good old boys have a lock on the media! Don't take my word for it; call and ask them.
