Harlan Madsen has the work ethic, the experience and the understanding of county operations necessary to intelligently conduct county business on behalf of the taxpayers. He will spend our money the same way he spends his own -- carefully.
Running a dairy operation and a small grain farm is a 24/7 job (and not for the weak of heart) and Madsen still makes time to take care of his commissioner responsibilities, which he does with faithfulness and passion. He understands the importance of community development to the welfare of the county and also the danger of over-regulation by all the various government regulatory agencies, including the county.
