Concerning the ongoing discourse between the self-appointed "watchdog" lawyer John Burns and local pastors' freedoms to discuss politics: Pastor Wayne Cook needn't have wasted his time with a reply to Burns' very transparent letter on Oct. 23.
Burns tried to make a scene at my church one Sunday morning as the service music was just starting. He was loud and outspoken but declined the offer to stay and thus actually listen to the pastor. It appears Burns is content with his assumptions. Hatred is indeed blind. Burns does his profession no favor.
