I was excited to see that District 20A candidate Mike Bredeck is turning away PAC and lobbyist cash in seeking office. As I see many politicians caught in the web of special-interest politics, it's good to see someone refuse their donations and rely on small donations from individuals in western Minnesota.
I have known Bredeck personally for five to six years as a counselor, educator and a CAA field representative. He is honest, hard-working, and dedicated to serving people. He means what he says and isn't afraid to stand up for what he believes in. The people of District 20A couldn't ask for a better candidate for office.
What a terrific addition Bredeck will be to the Legislature. Someone who refuses the cash donations from lobbyists and special interests deserves our support.
