First, reading a Cal Thomas opinion compels me to vote for a politician that practices separation of church and state in our government, if we citizens are lucky nowadays.
However, the Cal Thomas opinion, specifically the last paragraph, preaches his creation of cruelness toward illegal immigrants. And, Cal Thomas, in my opinion, calls for a government religious test of Democrats. A Cal Thomas opinion reminds me of the 1950s McCarthy Era's "Red Scare," but does anyone want our government to pick a priest with a prayer that fits a Cal Thomas approval?
In contrast, natural human rights and our U.S. Constitution allow people to contract their labor and that includes illegal immigrants.
