We're not sure if the "God Squad" is coming out for John McCain or not this year. What a tragedy looms over America if they have nowhere to go this year! Big crocodile tears are already running down my cheek.
But, you know, Pat Robertson -- bless his Southern Bible bee and pea-pickin' heart -- came out and endorsed Rudy Giuliani, a Republican who favors abortion rights and gay rights. Isn't that odd? In desperation for nowhere else to go, he showed his true right-wing evangelical colors: Save the Bush tax cuts. Preserve the wealthy. Oh, Lord!
John McCain is coming under fire too from the religious right and conservatives. Now, it's coming out it's issues of immigration, Bush tax cuts, etc. I am just glad the focus is off the abortion issue and gay rights for awhile. It's good to hear what is really on their minds.
