I just wanted to write a letter supporting the expansion of the Big Stone II power plant. I have lived and worked within two miles of the plant for 10 years. The plant is a good neighbor. The plant is clean and well run. I have full confidence that the proposed plant would be run the same way.
To the opponents to the expansion project, I would like to ask, are you ready to pay more for utilities in the future if supplies are inadequate? If it's 100 degrees out and the wind isn't blowing, what good is a wind generator going to do?
