Hypocrisy is at its worst. The Minnesota Democratic Party has prepared and paid for a multitude of mailings and media advertisements that claim Sen. Dean Johnson "has always been pro-family, pro-life." The DFL's platform supports pro-choice and non-traditional family values just like Johnson's voting record, media releases, and support from NARAL (pro-choice) and OutFront (pro-homosexual and bisexual organization).
Their political ads for Johnson are an oxymoron and an insult to our intelligence and principles. We won't be fooled by the selected heartwarming photographs of precious babies, the touching scripted words (trusted leader, dedicated service, faith in him, etc.), and Johnson's chosen occupation as a minister. Senate District 13 is tired of Johnson's political campaign charades and partisan games in St. Paul; it's time for a change. Vote for Joe Gimse for Minnesota state Senate on Nov. 7.
