What happened to America? When did the citizens of this country become so helpless that they can't make it through a day without government's assistance? No one talks about self-reliance and personal responsibilities. No one talks about the drip, drip, drip, of our freedoms and liberties being taken away.
This country became the most advanced and powerful country in the world by a document known as the Constitution and the freedom and liberty that it provides. These are the only things that set us apart from every other country or society in world history.
We are at a point in our lives and history in this election, where both freedom and liberty are at risk. We, as individuals exercising our freedom and liberty, are the best resource to affect the outcome of our lives. Success or failure is based on our own individual choices and the results of those choices. We as individuals need to take on the responsibility for the choices we make. Why is it that so many citizens want to give that up and turn it over to politicians and bureaucrats?
