Same-sex marriage was made legal last year in Canada. Already those Canadians who believe in the historic definition of marriage are now considered the legal equivalent of racists. If Canadian parents object to same-sex lifestyles being taught in school classes, they'll be branded as homophobes.

We remember what has happened in European countries as a result of same-sex marriage.

Our country is of the people, for the people and by the people. We in Minnesota are not getting the opportunity to vote on the marriage amendment because of our Senate leadership.

I urge you to call, write or speak to your senator right away. We only have until some time in March to get this on the ballot in November. This is extremely important for our children and future generations.
