I wish to echo the sentiments of Benita Russell in her recent letter to the editor ("Giving thanks for gratitude," West Central Tribune, Nov. 23).
The troops here in Iraq are very grateful to all the people and organizations that have sent cards, letters and packages to them.
We appreciate your continued thoughts and prayers for us and our families as we strive to complete our mission and come home safely.
