Jackie Cain's letter to the editor on Oct. 17 was extremely misleading about Sen. Dean Johnson's pro-life voting record. She should know that in 2005 the Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (the organization she chairs in Kandiyohi County) gave Johnson a rating of 100 percent on the basis of five floor votes in the Senate.
The 2006 MCCL rating was based on only one floor vote. This is clear example of some of the half-truths that have been used in the campaign against Sen. Johnson.
