We are a 9th-grade confirmation group at Vinje Church. Our church is trying to collect 1,000 pounds (or more!) of food donations for the Willmar Food Shelf. We were talking about the food shelf in our group and we feel that it's very important for people in our community to make donations to help people who aren't as lucky as we are.
It's hard to believe that there are people -- maybe even right next door -- who don't have enough food and don't know where their next meal will come from. Jesus taught us to share what we have and help people who are having hard times. Please join us in giving a few items to the food shelf to help these people out.
