I think the people of District 18B are lucky to have a state representative like Dean Urdahl. In just four short years, Urdahl has earned the respect of legislators on both sides for his effective and persuasive manner.
It's rare for a new legislator to see 20 of his bills become law. But that's what Urdahl did in the last two years. He was named Legislator of the Year by Minnesota Milk and the American Heart Association. Awards like that don't come from Cracker Jack boxes. Urdahl got them because he knows how to bring people together to accomplish things.
When his communities need help, Urdahl knows what to do. Many of his towns received funding for needed projects because he knew how to get it and was persistent enough to get it done.
We've got to keep this creative and effective voice for rural Minnesota working for us in St. Paul. I'm voting for Dean Urdahl.
