Dean Johnson has represented this district extremely well. His seniority and influence as Senate majority leader cannot be matched by his opponent who has no experience in public affairs.
We need to thank Dean Johnson for his work on education, fairness in property taxes and environment. Johnson represents our values. As our senator he has voted to increase funding for public education, affordable health care and created jobs through expansion of ethanol, biodiesel and wind energy.
He has sponsored pro-life legislation. His opponents don't what to hear this through they know it is true. They are not telling the truth about Johnson to the voters. Their ads on the radio and newspaper are full of lies and slander.
I am proud of Dean Johnson. As a former Kandiyohi County Commissioner I worked with him on many projects and issues. He had the respect and support of the legislators in St. Paul. That is why he got so much done. We need to keep him working for us.
