Don Skimland wrote (in his Oct. 26 letter), "We all know the story of Moses and his trip into the mountains, where he spent 40 days and nights without food or drink. While there, his spiritual God of Abraham, disguised as a burning bush, chiseled the Ten Commandments on tablets of stone."
I'm not sure which version of the Bible he used to get this rendition, but I'm sure it also included the story of when Jesus lost all of his strength because Ruth cut all his hair off, and then he went to feed the 5,000 leopards with only five fish.
If you're not actually going to read the Bible, at least go rent the movie.
