Kids should take responsibility
I have several questions about the March 28 article about kindergartners having to clean up the feces in the boys' restroom.
Did the boys tell their parents when they did the smearing of the feces? Were the parents concerned about the "health hazard" at that time?
Did the boys wear gloves when they were doing the smearing?
Did the boys wash their hands with soap and water afterward?

I feel it is time for the kids to take a little responsibility for their actions. What do they learn by making this mess and then having someone else clean it up?
The only thing I might criticize the teacher for is maybe she should have contacted the office and then had a custodian supervise the cleanup. (And who knows, was someone supervising the cleanup? There was no mention of this in the article.) But I see nothing wrong with having the children doing the cleaning.
