For those undecided voters in Kandiyohi County Commissioner District 5, a vote for Harlan Madsen would be an excellent choice for not only District 5 but for all of Kandiyohi County.
Madsen is not only an honest, conscientious, hardworking, intelligent, articulate person, but is also blessed with another rare trait in today's world -- common sense.
His word and handshake are good and you do not have to sign anything or have a witness. We, in this county, have been fortunate to have a person such as Madsen to give the time it takes to do the county's business. The sacrifice of time and inconvenience to his wife and family should also be recognized and appreciated.
Harlan Madsen may not always tell you what you want or like to hear; he may not always agree with you, but he will listen and make decisions based on facts, not emotion. Too many politicians agree with everybody, try to please everybody and end up irritating all. Not so with Harlan Madsen. With his experience and common sense, he is the best man for the job in District 5.
