Harlan Madsen has been a Kandiyohi County commissioner for 12 years. Madsen has served in many leadership positions and has gained valuable experience to serve the people of the fifth district.
Over the past decade rural Minnesota has been attacked by Twin Cities environmentalists that want to use our rural counties as their playground. The future of agriculture, agricultural manufacturing, renewable energy, and small business in rural Minnesota are at stake. We need a leader that has the experience to understand these complex issues and is not going to give in to big Twin Cities interests. If you live in the Fifth District and enjoy all of the benefits the area has to offer, I would ask you to consider voting to extend Harlan Madsen's stay as commissioner.
