Exclusive (one man and one woman) heterosexual marriage is and has been the basic building block "meat and potatoes" of all civilized society since the beginning of the human race. The Ten Commandments were given to protect spiritual relationships with our creator and each other, governments, and society at large to ensure freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness to all who would uphold and secure them in their laws.

I can't help noticing that some critics of traditional marriage insist that both same-sex individuals and same-sex relationships have been discriminated against. Same-sex individuals have every right and privilege that anyone else has, with the exception of redefining marriage relationships and marriage benefits.

Still others would imply that laws that define marriage as one man and one woman actually encourage sexually deviant behavior. I would like to know what sexual behavior would be considered deviant to a same-sex marriage supporter and how any behavior could be defined illegal, based on what guidelines, once marriage is redefined to include same-sex couples. How long would it take for these same supporters to include pedophiles as a discriminated group who deserve special rights?

Many would not be surprised to know that according to the statistics of human pathogens, infections and disease control, it is well known that the people studied with the likelihood of having AIDS, beginning with the most likely, are same-sex male partners, multisexual partners (including same-sex female partners), drug-impaired users (including sharing needles), and children of these relationships or victims of multisexual AIDS-infected individuals.

Have we "evolved" to the point of just sharing or stating factual information, such as from the Bible or medical statistics, that a believer in God should be targeted with casual smears -- racist, sexist, homophobe -- which has grown common in public discourse the past few decades? To define anyone as a bigot who disagrees with you is itself a bigoted way of thinking.
