As you make your voting decisions on Tuesday, consider some positive news that you may have overlooked. From media reports and surveys you may have been led to believe that the country is headed in the wrong direction. Every left-wing group is flooding the airwaves and your mailbox, selling the idea that "it's time for a change," that George Bush is the devil, and everyone hates America. Hate, pessimism, and retreat is their message.
Before you vote, think about the following:
The economy in Minnesota and the nation is booming. The stock market is at an all-time high and company valuations are solidly related to earnings, not the "in-your-dreams" speculative valuations of 2000.
Inflation is moderate, interest rates are still at historic lows, and gas prices are down.
Home ownership is at an all-time high and unemployment is near an all-time low.

We are fighting Islamo-fascism overseas, and have thwarted their plots here in this country.
Border security is being addressed. It would seem that in addition to security, part of our border problem is that America has been so successful that everyone wants to move here.
Do you really want to roll back the tax cuts that have produced the economy we enjoy today? What plan do the haters and the pessimists have that will change our economy or our security for the better? Appeasement did not work in the 1930s and it will not work today. On Tuesday, vote for Mark Kennedy, Tim Pawlenty, Jeff Johnson and the rest of the Republican team.
