Here is my opinion on our Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City school system. When I was a student at ACGC there were very few teachers who cared about the students. Now there are even fewer. They say this referendum is supposed to be about the kids, but they're wrong.
The only kids they care about are the staff's kids and the ones who are in sports, and that's a fact. If they didn't spend so much money on these sports and all these extra classes, they would have the money to support the classes they need. I took my two sons out of ACGC and put them into Litchfield because Litchfield stands behind their students 100 percent.
Look at their test scores. If they are low they will do anything to raise them. At ACGC it seems like the test scores keep going down. If only there were still teachers there who cared about the students and not about a stupid paycheck, maybe they would be OK. Also, the senior high needs a whole new school board and a new principal. My vote will be no!
