I would like to comment on the marriage amendment. I still have a lot of information to digest, so I have not formed an opinion. My purpose for writing is to caution people from making a legislative decision while our emotions are in a stir. This is a hot-button topic. When I reflect on my own experience, the times I made a decision before disengaging and allowing my emotions to calm down, it is laced with regret.

I don't know Sen. Dean Johnson personally, nor do I agree with much of his political philosophy. However, if I am reading between the lines correctly, I am inclined to think there was casual conversation between Johnson and court justices. I think Johnson took one in the solar plexus to save the integrity of the court.
