Letter: Sign-stealing is just wrong

I don't care what your political affiliation is; you were wrong. When you got out of your car and walked down the field approach, crawled onto the round bale and removed the signs from their re-bar stabilizers, you were wrong.

Do you think you are going to sway a vote by removing signs? Do you think that what you've done is honorable? What gives you the authority to steal from someone else? That's exactly what it is -- theft.

I hope that some day you learn to care about others. I hope that some day you learn to respect others' property. I respect all the signage that others put up -- even if I don't agree with it. It is their right, and I honor that freedom.

Please, before you scale someone else's fence, walk onto someone else's lawn, or climb on a round bale, remember that's not your property and what you are doing is wrong.
