In regards to the sign that was placed on an owner's business which read, "Piss on the oil, bring back our troops": I don't understand why there is an attempt to sanction a person's right to express his or her opinion. First Amendment rights protect us but we have seen it time and time again where there are those who, because they don't like what is said or it does not agree with them, attempt to silence someone.
If the actions of a sign or a statement offend you, then you have a right to state your concern but you don't have the right to force someone to remove a sign, especially a sign that is on their own property. Debating an issue is one thing but violating someone's right to express themselves is another. Our soldiers dying in Iraq should offend anyone because it is so true we don't belong there!
