The recent articles in the West Central Tribune concerning the Barn Theatre and Bonnie Wilhelm raise some serious questions. The newspaper wrote three stories and one editorial about this subject. The first story presented the West Central Tribune perspective of the issue and the following two articles did nothing more than repeat the first one -- almost word for word.
Seriously, what are West Central Tribune's motives in all of this so-called reporting? Does the West Central Tribune have an agenda to affect the outcome of this November election? It seems to me that the West Central Tribune has targeted Bonnie Wilhelm in a dirty covert manner.
When Dean Johnson lied to pastors at two local ministerial meetings, community members at the Raymond township meeting, and to the radio, television, newspaper reporters, and the general public about something our Minnesota Supreme Court justices didn't say, there was no outcry by the Tribune concerning this blatant outrage.
Where is the Tribune's sense of perspective? I can only conclude that they have a political agenda. Shame on you, West Central Tribune -- your political bias is showing. It appears the legally required political advertisement disclaimers should have followed most of the West Central Tribune's current front-page articles.
