At the Olivia Chamber of Commerce meeting on Oct. 18, the Chamber executive committee unanimously passed a motion in full support of the BOLD School District's excess levy referendum. The increased funding will assist in much-needed programs for our area students. With decreasing enrollment shrinking dollars from the state, local financial support is more important than ever in maintaining smaller class sizes and various curriculums.
As your community representatives, we feel an educated workforce is vital to the economy of the BOLD community, our surrounding rural neighbors and all of Renville County. Without a structured education program in your community, who will be qualified in the future to run our local business?
On Nov. 7 vote "yes" to BOLD's excess levy referendum. The financial future of your local education depends on it.
