Our family visited your beautiful new pool on Aug. 7. We were three adults and three children under the age of 4, youngest being 10 months.

We were disturbed, by the behavior of:

n Four boys in kiddie pool, pushing one another, splashing, general horsing around, ages 10 to 12 years old. We asked the lifeguard what were the age limits on the kiddie pool, and she replied, "None." Our 10-month-old was repeatedly splashed, and was crying. Not one guard paid any attention to this. We finally asked the boys to please go elsewhere, but they continued to pay no attention to our requests.

n Disturbing behavior was a male lifeguard in the kiddie pool who was not watching kids but was picking skin off his feet and flicking it into pool. Our daughter then went to another guard and explained how upsetting this was and the guard said she would say something, but didn't. Now we paid $20 to have a fun family outing and couldn't believe how this pool is run. Clearly, the rules are posted about roughhousing but aren't adhered to, and the immaturity of some lifeguards is a concern to the kids' safety. I would love a reply from someone at the pool in authority.
