OLIVIA -- Lillian Ann Hanson, 98, of Gresham, Ore., formerly of Olivia, died Sept. 25 at Courtyard Fountains in Gresham.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 28 at Crystal Lake Cemetery in north Minneapolis.
She was born April 2, 1908, to Emil and Anna (Haack) Carlson. She grew up in Minneapolis, and the family moved to Olivia when she was young.

She married Harold E. Hanson on May 2, 1926. They lived in Olivia, Arizona, Oregon and returned to Olivia. Harold died in 1998. She moved to Gresham, Ore., in 1999.
She was a member and past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 233 in Olivia and held various positions in the Grand Chapter of Minnesota.
She is survived by three children: Roland (and Patricia) of Gresham, Edward (and Susan) of Downers Grove, Ill., Mary Lippert of Tucson, Ariz.; daughters-in-law: Jan and Pat; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and brother: Emil Jr. "Toot" of Minneapolis; sister: Marge Parsons of Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons: Harold Jr. "Bud", Richard "Dick"; two grandsons; and two brothers.
