BENSON -- Lillian Irene Douglas, 93, of Benson, died Sunday at the Golden Living Care Center in Benson.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson. Burial will be in Benson City Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. Arrangements are by Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.

She was born July 23, 1915, in Camp Lake Township, Swift County, to Carl Oscar and Minnie (Frederick) Bagstad. She attended District 64 School and Benson High School.

She married Glenn Wrexford Douglas on Nov. 17, 1935, in Princeton. They farmed in the Benson area for many years, and she was a homemaker.

She was a member of Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church and active in the Mission Circle, Ladies Aid, Altar Guild and as a youth adviser. She also was a member of the Benson Garden Club.

She is survived by her daughters: Janet Goff of Benson and Annette (and Edward) Stelzig of Danvers; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother: Lowell (and Eleanor) Bagstad of Marshall; and one sister: Edna Lee of Benson.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1965 and one sister.
