AITKIN -- Lilly L. Kirgiss, 99, of Aitkin died Friday at Aitkin Health Services.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Westside Church in Aitkin. Burial will be at the Osceola Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church. Arrangements are by Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin.

She was born Aug. 28, 1908, in Olivia to Henry and Lydia (Palos) Yunker.
She married Lawrence Kirgiss on Sept. 26, 1934, in Olivia. They farmed in Olivia until their retirement in the early 1970s. They moved to Aitkin in 1999.
She is survived by two daughters: Vicky (and John) Fremling of Aitkin and Jill (and Joseph) Meyer of Littleton, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one brother: Ezra of California.
She was preceded in death by her husband on May 11, 1999; two sons: Lenis and Eldon; and a brother.
