WABASSO -- Linda M. Fixsen, 58, of Wabasso died Saturday at the Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Wabasso. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and one hour prior the service Tuesday at the church.
She was born June 27, 1949, in Redwood Falls to William and Mary Ann (Frank) Krueger. She attended country School District 67 for one year before it closed. She then attended Sanborn Public School, graduating in 1967. She received an associate degree from the University on Minnesota in Minneapolis. She worked at Norwest Bank, later Minnesota Valley Bank, in Redwood Falls.

In the summer of 1969, she married Tom Brandt. She worked at the Southwest Minnesota ELCA Synod Office in Redwood Falls for 19 years.
In February 1993, she married Jeffrey Fixsen in Wabasso. They lived near Wabasso.
She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church where she served on the church council for six years.
Linda is survived by her husband; children: Nathan (and Kari) Brandt of Wabasso, Adam Brandt of Wabasso, and Alyssa (and Trevor) Krieger of Billings, Mont.; three granddaughters; her mother of Redwood Falls; a sister: Janice (and Gene) Fenske of Redwood Falls; and a brother: Wayne (and Beth) Krueger of Park Rapids.
She is preceded in death by her father.
