The Detroit Lions have signed former Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City and Northern Illnois star tight end Jake Nordin to their practice squad, it was announced on Aug. 31.
Nordin played in one regular-season NFL game last season with the Baltimore Ravens, but was cut before the 2008 season.
He has been a volunteer coach with ACGC this season while waiting to see if he would be signed by an NFL team.
