RIO RANCHO, N.M. -- Lisa Diane Shodean, 41, of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Willmar, died Dec. 3 in Rio Rancho.
The service will be at noon Monday at Community of Joy Lutheran Church in Rio Rancho. A military service will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Sunrise Funeral Options in Rio Rancho. Memorials are preferred.

She was born Jan. 24, 1964, in Willmar to David and Dione (Skarie) Shodean. She grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School. She was a major in the U.S. Army and served as a career manager in the Officer Management Division in the Human Resources Command in St. Louis. She was a graduate of California State University in Fresno and Hamlin University. She received numerous medals and commendations for meritorious service and performance.
She attended St. Paul's Evangelical Church in St. Louis.
She is survived by her father and stepmother: David and Pat Shodean of Rio Rancho; siblings: Jeff (and Pam) Shodean of Cleveland, Minn., Karen Shodean, Jonathan Shodean, both of Albuquerque, N.M.; and stepsiblings: Kyle Johnson, Derek (and Wendy) Johnson, and Erin (and George) Johnson-Kruft.
She was preceded in death by her mother in 1978.
