LITCHFIELD -- After losing the opening game to Worthington in the first round of the Section 2AAA playoffs, Litchfield wasn't about to lose another.
Pinned in a big hole in the fourth game, the Dragons fought back to thwart off the Trojans' upset bid and post a 23-25, 25-22, 25-18, 28-26 win Thursday.
The No. 3-seeded Dragons (24-5) will host No. 6 Delano Saturday at 2 p.m. in the quarterfinals.
Brittany Euerle had 19 kills and Megan Lambertson piled up 17 kills and six ace blocks to ignite the Dragons.
Litchfield trailed 16-3 to start the fourth game before rallying to get within two at 20-18.

The No. 14-seeded Trojans then got one from forcing a fifth game by pulling ahead 24-21, but the Dragons then pieced together a 7-2 run to collect their 24th win of the season.
"We got some plays and some breaks," said Litchfield coach Darin Swenson. "We got down so far and things were getting pretty tense. They could have just rolled over and died, but they fought back."
