WILLMAR -- Lloyal Orvin Anderson, 86, of Willmar died Monday at Rice Care Center in Willmar.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
He was born May 3, 1920, in Willmar to Albert and Cora (Schaub) Anderson. He grew up in Willmar and graduated from the Willmar High School in 1938. He worked as a fireman on the Burlington Northern Railroad from 1940 to 1945. He worked as an automotive machinist for M.W. Bengtson from 1945 to 1950, and as an automotive mechanic for Joe and Steve Caine from 1950 to 1952. He moved to Island view Manor in Willmar 20 years ago.

He was a former member of the Willmar Flying Club.
He is survived by three siblings: Vern (and Marge) Anderson of Jackson, Mich., Marjorie (and Donald) Stephanson of Edina, and Renae Olson of Minneapolis.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother.
