WILLMAR -- Willmar's award-winning basket weaver Janet Olney will be featured in an upcoming program to be aired on Pioneer Public Television.
The locally produced "Postcards'' program will feature Janet Olney on the air at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Producer Eric Olson said the local weaver's skills and talents will be highlighted in the show. Like many, he was impressed by the quality of the works and the beautiful hue of the hand-dyed reeds that comprise her baskets.
Olney has been weaving baskets since learning the craft in 1984 from her sister-in-law, Judith Olney.
